Are you TUFF enough?

Toronto United Flag Football (a division of the Toronto Gay Football League) is a recreational league serving the Toronto 2SLGBTQ+ community and their allies. Founded in 2009, our goal is to create a safe and fun environment where adults can play the game of football as their authentic selves.

We welcome players of all skill levels, even if you have never played football or any sport, we welcome and encourage you to join us!

OUR LEAGUE MEMBERS ENJOY:

  • Scrimmages & Practices for skill development
  • Regular Season Games all summer (Sunday afternoons)
  • Weekend Playoff to determine league champion (usually in late September)
  • League-wide Social Events after every game & all year round
  • End of Season Awards
  • Weekly updated scores & standings
  • Trained referees

We play by Flag Football rules established by the National Gay Flag Football League (NGFFL). Planning is currently underway for 2022! Stay tuned to our social media for news, scrimmages, and social events throughout the off-season.

We filled all those spots within a week! The higher than anticipated demand has also built a larger than anticipated wait list. For those on that wait list… ALL IS NOT LOST! If we are able to get just a few more to sign up, we would be able to do something we’ve never done before: expand to 10 teams of 14 players! Land Acknowledgement

TUFF is privileged to be able to play on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples, a land that is also home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.

Flags of Glory is our sibling league! They welcome all lesbians, bisexual, and queer positive women; and all non-binary and trans players interested in playing flag football.
